Universal water level sensor

Smart City /Agriculture/Eco-monitoring
The water level monitoring sensor is a simple and reliable device that can be used both in open water bodies and in the city infrastructure to measure and control the water level and quickly respond to its changes.

The operating conditions of the sensor and the experience of real projects helped us choose a method for measuring the water level based on measuring the pressure of the water column above the immersion part of the sensor. This approach allows you to accurately determine the water level and instantly detect changes. The sensor is not afraid of foreign objects in the water, water disturbances, etc. The use of a two-level system with repeaters allows you to conveniently position the transmitting part of the sensor and provide good coverage when installed even in difficult conditions - in culverts, rainwater drainage wells, under bridges, etc.
Up to 10 years of working in the hard conditions
Up to 10 years of working
Ready for harsh conditions IP68, works up to -40. In cold weather, the battery capacity decreases, but the sensor will still work for more than 8 years.
Accuracy
The accuracy of water level measurement is ±0.5 cm. Detection of level changes is within a minute.
3 years warranty
We will replace the device with a new one without any questions asked if something happens to it.
Сost savings
Up to 15 sensors can be connected to one repeater
Easy to install
Does not require wiring, anyone can handle it. No settings are required, just turn it on. The sensor battery is replaceable.
Reliable and long-range radio channel
Transmits information over tens of kilometers even through walls.
The sensor consists of 2 parts: a submersible part where the pressure sensor is located and a second part connected to it by a wire where the controller and BLE transmitter are located.

The submersible part of the sensor is placed on the bottom or at a level below which it is not necessary to measure the level. The wire between the level meter and the transmitting part of the sensor is up to 10 meters long and can be laid in any convenient way. If physical protection of the wire is required, for example, from ice, protective metal corners can be used.

The upper part of the sensor is placed above the water in a convenient place. A BLE - LPWAN repeater is required for operation, which is placed within 50-100 meters from the sensor and transmits sensor messages over distances of up to 50 km via the GoodWAN / OpenUNB LPWAN protocol.

The use of a repeater allows you to simplify installation, improve operation and increase the transmission range and battery life of sensors.

With a repeater, you do not need to place the above-water part of the sensor high above ground level to ensure the transmission range. The sensor itself is cheaper, since it does not have a long-range radio channel.
Due to the use of BLE for data transmission, a small battery is used in the sensor, reducing the size and cost without reducing autonomy.
Placing the repeater as high as possible, in a convenient place, ensures the transmission of messages over tens of kilometers. The repeater itself is a completely autonomous device of small size, which does not require complex installation and maintenance for several years.
One BLE - LPWAN repeater can serve up to 15 sensors and this is enough to organize several control points at one facility.

Experience of using sensors

Take a look at different use cases of the devices
Agriculture
Level control at hydroposts of melioration canals
Water level control in wells of hydroposts in remote areas is carried out by our BLE sensors and repeaters
Easy installation, high accuracy, operating range and no need for maintenance are decisive factors when choosing a solution.
Smart city
Monitoring of underground water drains
Our sensor is used to monitor the water level in the underground collectors of Mosvodostok. During heavy rainfall, a very rapid increase in the water level is possible at certain points in the collector system, leading to flooding of the streets. Our sensor transmits data on the actual level in the collector at intervals of 10 minutes, which allows you to determine in time the places where teams need to be sent. This allows you to eliminate flooding in the shortest possible time and minimize possible damage.

The advantage of our sensor is that it can withstand harsh conditions in the collector without requiring maintenance and transmit data for several kilometers, virtually from underground.
The sensor is installed at the required point. It is designed to operate for 5 years. After switching on, the sensor begins to send periodic messages about the current water level.
Safe transport
Control of railway infrastructure
Our sensors are used to control the water level on the culvert collector under the railway line. Continuous level monitoring allows you to control the stability of the slope of the railway embankment on the railway line ST. PETERSBURG - MURMANSK. Our wireless sensors have been continuously transmitting information to a remote network gateway for several years, and then the information goes to the system, which notifies the responsible persons.
